Originally from South Africa, Wessel’s career spans product development, research, and large-scale engineering projects. He played a key role in helping a mining company grow from 100 to more than 900 people, gaining valuable experience in designing systems that scale. He brings that same strategic mindset and technical depth to his work at Longveld, creating bespoke solutions that deliver real results for our customers.
Wessel believes the best outcomes come from a calm and methodical approach. When a project becomes complex, he takes a step back, looks at the big picture, and finds a smart way forward. Outside of work, you will often find him outdoors — fishing, camping, riding, or reading something new. Steady, curious, and collaborative, Wessel has already made his mark at Longveld.
