Water & wastewater
fabrication

Pressure filter vessels, clarifiers, stainless process tanks and the platforms that give operators safe access. We design and build for water and wastewater specialists, civil contractors and councils throughout new Zealand.

Built to last in plants that never stop

Treatment plants run around the clock, for decades. We fabricate processing equipment, tanks and access structures in 316L stainless and structural steel, backed by certified welding, NDT, weld maps and inspection records.

Most of this work happens with careful collaboration inside someone else’s programme. Head contractors and civil firms bring us onto council plant upgrades, and water/wastewater specialists call us in to fabricate their process packages. The plants belong to councils and the water utilities that run them.

What we build for water and wastewater

Pressure filter vessels

Four horizontal 316L vessels for a Northland water treatment plant, each 3 m across and 10 m long, designed in-house to AS 1210.

Clarifiers

Two lamella clarifiers for a regional council wastewater upgrade in the Waikato, 5 m in diameter and 6 m high.

Stainless process tanks

Tanks and screen frames for an Auckland wastewater plant, plus batch and flocculation tanks to sit alongside the Northland filter vessels.

Reactor components

Perforated stainless parts for the nitrification and denitrification tanks of a Bay of Plenty MBBR upgrade.

Platforms, stairs & walkways

Four galvanised access platforms for a Waikato treatment plant. Stairways and platforms for the Auckland upgrade, built to AS/NZS 5131.

Install & handover

Site installation, inspection and test plans, and manufacturing data reports ready for sign-off.

Why water teams build with us

____

Coded welding

SFC Construction Category 3 and ISO 3834 Part 2 certified, with visual and penetrant testing at set stages and every weld traceable.

____

Fits your programme

We agree ITPs up front, then work to the head contractor’s schedule and site rules.

____

One team, from drawing to site

Consultancy, 3D design and FEA, fabrication and installation under one roof. The build is right first time, with no hand-offs.

____

Designed for decades

Mechanical design in-house, and 316L stainless where water and treatment chemicals demand it.

Water and wastewater FAQs

Various equipment such as pressure filter vessels, lamella clarifiers, stainless process tanks, MBBR reactor components, and the galvanised or structural steel platforms, stairs and walkways around them.

Usually, yes. Most of our water work comes through civil contractors or process specialists, and we fit in with their engineering design, programme and QA requirements.

Yes. Where required we will fabricate in sections for transport to site. Build sequence, transport and lifting are part of the plan from day one.

Absolutely. We install plant throughout new Zealand.
