Certified steel structures, certified from the workshop to the site.
Our carbon steel structural work has to carry load: platforms people stand on, pipe bridges carrying live process lines, and frames that hold plant in place. We fabricate to AS/NZS 5131 under our SFC CC3 certification, and our SFC-endorsed erection team installs.
That matters on a working site. One team handles the drawings, welding and erection, and manages the galvanising, so questions get answered in the workshop before they turn into problems on site.
ERECTED UNDER OUR CC3 ERECTOR ENDORSEMENT
Access structures for operator and maintenance access to bioreactors, screens, tanks and process equipment, supplied with the handrail, guardrail and edge protection that goes with it. Hot-dip galvanised and installed around a working site.
OWN ITP AND SIGN-OFF FOR EACH STRUCTURE
Pipe bridges and pipe support structures carrying process lines and services across a plant.
UP TO CC3 UNDER AS/NZS 5131
From support stands built around a single chiller or fan, to braced structural frames for process plant. Welded to AS/NZS 1554, with the inspection and NDT the construction category calls for.
CUSTOM BUILT TO YOUR NEEDS
We can custom design and build, or work with your engineer to your drawings and connections.
Certification sets the bar. The records are how you know we met it. We trace material from the mill certificate to the finished product, tie every weld to a qualified procedure and the welder who ran it, and inspect and record the coating and bolting before sign-off.
01
Order and contract review
Specification, grade and inspection requirements agreed in writing before anything is ordered.
02
Material receipt
Mill certificates checked against the order, heat numbers logged and identity marked.
03
Fabrication and welding
Welding to qualified procedures, weld map maintained, in-process checks against the ITP.
04
Inspection and handover
Final inspection, finish verification and the documentation pack issued with the work.
We partner with industry leaders setting the benchmark, and innovators looking to shape something remarkable.
Before you send the drawings
Yes. We’re an SFC Certified Fabricator to Construction Category 3 (CC3) under AS/NZS 5131, and we hold the SFC Erector Endorsement to CC3.
Your structural engineer, during design. It comes from a risk assessment combining the importance level of the structure, the service category for the loads it will carry, and the fabrication category for how demanding the welding and execution are.
It should be stated in the structural specification. If you can’t find it, resolve it before tender, because it changes which fabricators can legitimately price the work.
AS/NZS 5131 for fabrication and erection, AS/NZS 1554 for structural welding and AS/NZS 4680 for hot-dip galvanising. Our SFC certification also covers NZS 3404.
We prepare the steel in our workshop, and send it to our selected subcontractors for galvanising or painting.
Yes. Our erection team works under our CC3 Erector Endorsement and handles delivery, erection, bolting and site welding. We plan cranage and sequencing with your site team, and work nationwide.
Yes, and we’ll review them for buildability before we price. If something will be difficult to fabricate, transport or erect, you’ll hear about it early rather than as a variation.
Yes. One-off parts, cleats, base plates, prototypes and short runs. Our Profile Centre, with laser, waterjet and router cutting and free delivery within 50km of Hamilton, is always open to small jobs.
